Investigation of the Movement of a Mass Loaded Spring on Insertion in an Acoustic Medium

Abstract

Using an oscillator, the unsteady motion of a cylindrical inclusion, in an acoustic medium, after the passage of the wave, has been investigated. The time dependence of the boundary functions and potentials has been calculated and illustrated. Free oscillations of the suspended mass contained cylindrical inclusion, have also been investigated in the acoustic medium. Eigen-frequencies of oscillations have been described for several parameters of the system.
