The purpose of this research is to identify the development of private sector banking in inclination to public sector banking in India. The first phase revolves around the detailed screening of structure of banking system in India continued with functions and issue of shares of private sector banks. The second phase shows the importance of private sector banking and additionally a comparison between private sector and public sector on some standard parameters.
